Wader Quest The Newsletter October 2015

"Wader Quest is a charity created to raise funds and awareness about waders or shorebirds and their protection through Community Wader Conservation around the globe."

Even though this organization is relatively new, it has already made a big impact.  For the second year in a row they will conduct the Wader Conservation World Watch, where citizen scientists from around the world will go out to their local wetlands and list/count the shorebird species they see.  Nature Explorers Anguilla will participate again this year and we look forward to contributing to this great project.

Rick Simpson, Chair of the Board of Trustees, recently asked me to contribute a piece to their newsletter highlighting Anguilla's wader species.  The article titled "Waders Wrapped in Blue" can be found on pages 8 and 9 of the PDF document.  You can download a copy by clicking here.

Many thanks to Rick and his organization for including Anguilla in their newsletter and for all the amazing work they do for wader conservation.
